Retsuko's Father makes his first appearance in the Season 5 of the Netflix Original Series Aggretsuko.
He is Retsuko's calm and soft-spoken father.

Appearance[]
Like Retsuko and his wife, he is based on a Red Panda. He has orange fur that has dulled with age, black eyes, brown "tear stains", a white stripe next to the tear stain, and a white muzzle, ears, and eyebrows. He wears a white shirt with a blue vest, brown pants and orange framed glasses.
Personality[]
A photographer at heart, Retsuko's father is more calm and pliable unlike his own wife. Like any good father, he has real concern and care for his daughter, but he also has faith in Retsuko's judgement for her own life.

Despite their differing personalities, he and his wife have a good relationship. They met each other by fate and not through an arranged marriage. At first, their parents were against their marriage but soon accepted it.
Retsuko[]
Unlike his wife, he is more accepting of Retsuko's decisions and does not try to push his decisions to her. According to Retsuko, he never gets mad at her.
Haida[]
At first, he did not approve of Haida, since he reveals to him that he doesn't have a job. He did give Haida advice about how he could still have the chance to change, but he still deliberately did not include Haida in his first picture with his family. However, after what Haida and Retsuko went through together in the events of Season 5, he finally accepted Haida as part of the family and approves of their marriage.
