Restart is the fourth episode in Season 5 of the Netflix series Aggretsuko.

"Haida now has to visit Retsuko's parents in two weeks. He'll have to tell them that he's unemployed — unless he can find a job before then."
Summary[]
Retsuko's Mother wonders who is Haida and how he knows her daughter. She then guesses that he may be Haida and Haida confirms it. Retsuko's Mother then gets quite happy, explaining that Retsuko told her how he takes care of her. Retsuko's Mother then uses her spare key and enters Retsuko's place, but leaves Haida outside. Once inside, she activates her "Mama-Vision" and sees Haida's clothes, guitar and toothbrush, confirming that Retsuko and Haida are living together.
The movie ends and Retsuko's Mother pulls Retsuko's headphones, surprising Retsuko that she is there. Her mother explains that she was nearby and decided to visit her, however, she then asks Retsuko if she and Haida are living together. Cornered, Retsuko confirms. Her mother then asks her if she made that decision and Retsuko again confirms. Her mother then explains she is busy now, but wonders if Retsuko will be free after two weeks later. As Retsuko confirms, her mother tells her that she will pretend she didn't see any of this, but Retsuko needs to bring Haida to their place and introduce him properly. Haida still waits outside and as Retsuko's Mother leaves, he is surprised as she just got there.
A bit later, Retsuko explains the situation to Haida and he guesses they can't escape and need to go. Retsuko then worries that Haida will have to say that he is unemployed. She asks him about this job interview and if he got a reply and they check his email. They see he got a reply, but they were just informing him that he got rejected. Haida then gets a new email from another interview, but its also informing him that he got rejected.
At work, Retsuko explains her situation to Fenneko and how Haida applies to many places, but has been rejected everywhere. Fenneko wonders if Retsuko's Father easily freaks out, thinking it would be funny if he raged like Retsuko, but Retsuko explains that he is quite calm and haven't seen him losing his temper.
Ton is working and Komiya compliments him how good he has become with the mouse clicks. Ton then explains he improved his typing as well and shows how fast he can type. In that moment, he gets an "unexpected error" message, which doesn't go away.
Haida is having an interview. The interviewer sees that he has previously worked at Chararyman Tradings and explains that the payment here is lower. They would love to have someone with Haida's experience and knowledge there, however, he wonders why he left his previous job. He gets nervous and explains. Later, Haida receives an email that he got rejected. He gets a call from Ton, who asks him to come. When Haida comes, Ton explains that he got an error message which isn't going away and he needs to save the file or he is screwed. Haida then reboots the computer, which angers Ton as he lost the data, but Haida tells him that the data was long gone and he had to start over either way. Haida apologizes that he couldn't do more and prepares to leave, but Ton stops him wanting to "repay" him at least with some coffee. While Ton works, he asks Haida if he found a new job and Haida explains that he is looking for an accounting job, but has no luck so far. Ton then reminds him he told him not to leave and wonders why he didn't listen to him back then. Haida explains that when Himuro took him under his wing, he got blinded by ambition, but took the whole thing too far, but eventually realized it was all for nothing, after which he couldn't see the point. Ton explains that everywhere in accounting is still using the support system he set up and each few days, he hears how the people there say they would have been screwed without that code. Ton state that when people give their all, others notice and tells Haida that he is good at stuff and to show them what he got. The next day, Haida takes some coding books from the library and starts studying.
Two weeks later, Haida and Retsuko head to meet with Retsuko's parents. Retsuko tells him that if they stick to the script, her parents won't find out. At their place, Haida introduces himself and explains that he is dating Retsuko and hopes that they eventually find him worthy. Retsuko's Mother heard from Retsuko that he is working in accounting and they are working with Retsuko side by side and Retsuko and Haida confirm. Retsuko's Mother explains how Retsuko was often getting into all sorts of pickles, but she is grown up now and with Haida by her side, she can sleep easy now. Haida then interrupts her apologizing and reveals that he is unemployed. He explains that he was in accounting, but lost that job and has been looking for a new job, but with no luck. He is trying to change careers now and is studying hard to become an IT engineer. Retsuko is shocked of what Haida said as it isn't part of their script. Haida explains that he promises to tell her things and asks her to support him. Retsuko then tells her parents that she is taking care of Haida until he is back on his feet.
Retsuko's Father holds a camera and wants to take a picture of Haida and Retsuko. He explains that he used that camera to take a picture of every milestone in Retsuko's life. Haida doesn't think he counts as such, but Retsuko's Father explains that everyone feels ashamed of themselves at some point in their life, but what is important is what you do next. Retsuko's Mother also want them to take a picture and she sits between Retsuko and Haida. Retsuko's Father then prepares to take a picture, but then zooms in on Retsuko and her mother, leaving Haida out of the picture.
