Double Moratorium is the third episode of Season 2 of the Netflix series Aggretsuko.

"Director Ton berates Retsuko for Anai's lack of progress on the job. Meanwhile, Anai continues to react very badly to any feedback from Retsuko."
Summary
After careful thinking, Retsuko calls her mom to tell her that she declines Shirota's proposal. Her mother tries to convince her otherwise, but Retsuko had made her mind.
At work, Anai is still messing up while answering the phone and then hanging up asking them to call again. Ton yells at Retsuko for not properly training Anai and warns that if he continues being useless, she will take responsibility. After work Haida wants to invite Retsuko with Anai and Fenneko for a drink, but Retsuko refuses as she has still work to do. She then receives a message from Anai informing her that he is awaiting her answer by tomorrow.
Retsuko is thinking of variety of ways to escape along with Washimi and Gori, but in the end she goes home where he mother was waiting her. As her mother tries to set up again with another man, Retsuko tells her she is busy with work and is trying to get a driving license. To her surprise her mother approves and offers to even cover half of the costs.
On the next day, Retsuko shares this with Haida, but then realizes she haven't responded to Anai and goes looking for him. She goes into the archive room where she writes him and apologizes she is late, but Anai then shows up telling her its too late and he will be reporting her. Anai decided to start recording all of their conversations from now and which leads to Retsuko raging in the karaoke about him recording her. She receives some advice from Washimi and Gori that likely Anai is just scared of becoming adult and she should help him gather confidence.
Next morning, Retsuko was ready to talk with Anai and apologize, but he didn't show at work. As she spoke with Ton, he shows her a report from Anai, complaining about power harassment from Retsuko. Ton congratulates Retsuko on her first power harassment complain and states they are not so different after all. Later Retsuko goes to the driving school and registers.
