| Anai (穴井) Good natured, yet insecure and paranoid, Anai is a new worker assigned to the Accounting Department of Carrier Man Trading Co., Ltd.
Fresh out of college, he doesn't take advice too well and has been known to send threatening emails to his coworkers, demanding them to answer in written form. He gradually becomes friends with Kabae as she helped him become more secure with himself and with his fellow coworkers, eventually learning to take criticism when given gently. Despite his personality, Anai is a great cook as seen by his beautiful lunches and delicious yakisoba.
